BEACH ACCESS
|

|
Beach Access: All of our homes are within 2 minutes' drive of five beach accesses, two of which have public restrooms: Oceanside Village and Happy Camp, in Netarts.
Castle Cove, Cottage by the Sea and Magnuson’s Makai are 1 block apart, and are near a recycled tire trail located at the end of Castle Drive that goes downhill into Oceanside, for direct access to the surfer's beach or through town to Oceanside beach.
Log Heaven on Netarts Bay, Lookout Pointe, The S.O.S. and Netarts Pearl are a few blocks away from the Netarts Bay and Schooner's beach, and about ½ mile to the Pacific Ocean.
Le Grand Maison, and The Sequoia are 1 mile walk or drive downhill to Netarts Bay in new upscale Ocean Highlands.
Cape Hideaway is a block of easy, flat surface, walking to the beach and is also close to the Tillamook Bay.
The Eyrie, La Petite Maison and "Ocian in View" are also in the village of Oceanside, where you may walk downhill (approx. 2 to 3 blocks) and through the town to the access there.
Sea View House is approximately 4 blocks to surfer's beach access and walk through town to Oceanside Beach.
The Sea Haven is about 500 feet above the beach, set-back from a cliff that is too steep to walk down.
Eagle's Landing is close to Sea Haven, across the highway from it. There are five wonderful beach accesses within 2 minutes' (or less) drive.
The Lost Boy Beach Chalet owners share a private easement which goes down to the beach bearing its name. The trail has gotten so bad, however, that we DO NOT recommend you try it. Sure, go half-way down just to see the view, it's fabulous, but we STRONGLY URGE guests not to try to get to the bottom of the trail, it's just way too eroded and very dangerous. We recommend guests take the much safer stairs to the next beach to the North (called Short Beach) about 1/4 mile from the home.

Where are these homes located, anyway? Tillamook, - 90 minutes west of Portland . Netarts - 7 miles west of Tillamook on Netarts Highway. * Lookout Pointe, and Log Heaven are on Netarts Bay. * North of the Bay is Pearl of the Sea and Netarts Pearl. * Just North of Netarts town is Asilomar, on Happy Camp Beach. * Eagle's Landing, Castle Cove are halfway between Netarts and Oceanside just above the Village of Oceanside. * The Sea Haven oceanfront home is in this same vicinity. * Sea View, La Petite Maison, The Eyrie and Ocian in View are in the village of Oceanside, Agate Hearth House, and A West Wind Cottage are beachfront in Oceanside. * Lost Boy Beach Chalet is on the other side of the main "hill" in Oceanside, about 0.7 miles around the "bend." * Cape Hideaway is at the end of Cape Meares Loop, in Cape Meares. Tillamook is appx. 10 minutes from Cape Meares, on Bayocean Road..
