LOST BOY BEACH CHALET

Enjoy privacy in this natural, high bank oceanfront setting. Relax in the garden. Take the path to the lookout and feel the invigoration of the ocean as it breaks upon the rock formations and ebbs and flows through Lost Boy Cave. Enjoy a less frequented sandy beach just a stroll (or quick drive) down the road to Radar Beach. If you want more activity, drive right around the corner to the seaside village of Oceanside where you can dine at an oceanfront restaurant or enjoy an espresso at the coffee shop. There you can stroll along still another wonderful beach, watch the hang gliders and wind surfers and explore the tunnel that leads from Oceanside Beach to Short Beach.  On those rare, extremely low tides of the season, one can walk from one beach to the other, including to Lost Boy Beach, the only time of the year when there is public access. It’s a very special experience with marvelous rock formations and a close-up look at sea life on the rocks and tidal pools. Return to Lost Boy Beach Chalet for an evening by the fireplace and the solitude of the night.

Owners of Lost Boy Beach Chalet encourage a green environment through the use of organic and recycled products. All of their products (e.g. shampoos, soaps, etc.) are also animal friendly. Each year, a portion of the net revenue from Lost Boy Beach is donated to The North Coast Wildlife Rehabilitation Center and the Oregon Beach Protection Organization.  On behalf of the owners, you are cordially invited to their family cabin.

This cozy 2 bedroom, 1 bath A-frame chalet also has a large loft!

• There are 2 queen beds downstairs and two twin beds in the loft. You’ll find soft organic cotton sheets on each queen bed, and 500 thread count unbleached, un-dyed sheets on each of the twin beds. Comforters are downalternative filled and hyper-allergenic.
• The great room boasts a delightful round fireplace.
• And for your first night, you’ll receive a complimentary fireplace log made from recycled material (Presto type logs are the only type of wood allowed) and organic coffee, organic hot cocoa mix, organic tea, Paul Newman’s organic popcorn and a low-fat treat for your dog!
• You’ll find high quality organic ingredients in the shampoo, conditioner and soap dispenser and plenty of fluffy towels as you get ready for a fun day at the beach. The large basket has plenty of “beach towels” and a hair dryer is available for your use.
• There are 2 TV’s, a VCR and a CD/tape player. The kitchen is equipped with dishes, silverware, a coffee grinder, blender and cookware. There is a hair dryer and plenty of fluffy towels in the bathroom.
• For those who can’t leave your computer behind, there is wireless internet.
• Be sure to bring (or purchase locally) charcoal briquets for the BBQ on the deck and enjoy a quiet setting and peaceful ocean sounds.
• You can take in the ocean and natural setting views from the floor-to-ceiling windows in the vaulted great room and loft and enjoy the crashing ocean waves from the view deck at the end of the path.
• Rates are based upon Occupancy of 1 to 6 people.

The Off Season rate is $145 a night - $942 per week – 2 night minimum

The Mid Season rate is $155 a night - $1007 per week – 3 night minimum unless other arrangements are made.

The Peak Season and Holiday rate is $165 a night - $1072 per week – 4 night minimum.

The cleaning fee for this home is  $75-100  and is based on occupancy.

Pets are allowed (2 maximum) with approval, at $10 per night, per pet.

          Children under the age of 2 stay for free.

          Security Deposit to be held on credit card authorization (to insure against breakage, replacement, damage costs)

Cancellation Policy:
Minimum $50 CANCELLATION FEE will be retained for ALL Reservations.
Reservation Deposits:(1st night rent & signed guest agreement) for PEAK Season (Memorial Day weekend
thru Labor Day weekend) are NON REFUNDABLE.

IF LESS THAN 30 DAYS prior your arrival, ALL MONIES ARE FORFEITED, NO REFUND
WILL BE GIVEN. Power and phone outages are common in coastal villages, especially in the stormy
season and do not constitute an emergency or basis for refund.

REFUNDS will not be issued for: Early departures or late arrivals Acts of nature (storms, power,
phone outages) Personal allergies or sensitivities to coastal conditions.
